On March 1, 1978, Donna was the last survivor from her section on Continental Flight 603, flying from LAX to Hawaii and this crash changed her life forever. She is an actress in Los Angeles and a former Miss Hawaii and was going back to the Islands to MC the Miss Hawaii Pageant. The speech opens with a reenactment and a dark room, with sound effects, her inner dialogue before and during the crash, and the explosion. Facing death, she was searching for her own truth and if her life mattered. The lights turn on, and Donna walks from the back of the room, through the audience, asking them the same questions she asked herself:

Do you love yourself?
Do you have a good relationship with your family and friends?
Are you living your goals and dreams?
If you die today, have you left this planet a better place for being here?
Donna screamed No.
